Maiden Cup review

We have finally come to the most important Group 1 race of the season with defending title runner Enaad atempting a record three times in-a-row win. Here is our pre-race analysis.

Pace : Slow to good in the middle stages (Probable front runner : Cool At Heart)

Horse with most stamina : Enaad but has to overcome age factor. Nebula should be right there with draw 1. Has greatly performed in last test race (handicap) and WFA this time should be at his avantage, but must not get stuck in traffic at the 800 metres mark when things should move up a bit.

Alshibaa has been unlucky in last race and unable to move down the road. Has the best finish of all and definitely better than last race. Will have top jockey Holland on board and Ricky Maingard handling experience for big races.

Enaad, White River (best on shorter journeys) should be able to join the show late at the finish.

Our selection : Nebula, Alshibaa, Enaad, White River.
